Montage Healdsburg in Northern California has announced Carrie Sotebeer as the resort’s director of spa, ahead of the property’s late-fall opening.
Sotebeer has more than a decade of experience, joining Montage from The West Hollywood EDITION. At Spa Montage she will oversee all spa and fitness operations.
“I look forward to being part of each guest’s wellness journey and looking to the terroir surrounding our secluded sanctuary for infinite inspiration and constant creativity,” says Sotebeer.
Spa Montage Healdsburg features 11 treatment rooms, relaxation spaces, a fitness center and a zero-edge adult pool. It will offer Elements of Wellness Signature Services and individual yoga sessions, among other holistic services, including:
- Harvest Honey Ginger Infusion Ritual: Restores hydration using hand-harvested honey. Combined with the immune-boosting benefits of ginger, this treatment includes a mineral scrub, hydrating massage, body wrap, scalp massage and facial acupressure.
- Journey of the Senses: Created exclusively for couples, the treatment is designed to emulate an intimate wine tasting while stimulating all the senses. The experience begins with a footbath while clients enjoy champagne and chocolates, then progresses to include compression treatment of lower legs, poultice work, exfoliation, full body massage and a departure gift of a spa robe and candle.
- California Wildflower Ritual: Designed with Southern California in mind, this full body experience features vibrational technology, heated flower poultices and aromatic essences for healing restoration.
- The Masterpiece: An antiaging facial featuring a dual cleansing process, six distinct masks, infused oxygen, suction and AHA/BHA peels to produce glowing, clarified and visibly lifted skin.
