Saffron & Sage Appoints Chief Medical Officer

San Diego-based health club Saffron & Sage has hired Trupti Gokani, MD, as its new chief medical officer. Dr. Gokani has more than 15 years of experience in clinical fields, Ayurvedic medicine and transcendental meditation. Prior to joining the Saffron & Sage team, she consulted with pharmaceutical companies and media health experts about the purpose of pain and the mind-body-spirit connection. She recently published her first book, The Mysterious Mind, which discusses her innovative and integrated approach to healing headache pain.

In this new role, Dr. Gokani will be responsible for overseeing the club's Holistic Pharmacy, as well as share her vast knowledge in pain, hormonal issues, mood disorders and more with Saffron & Sage’s staff. She will also assist in the opening of Saffron & Sage’s new IV Lounge in early 2021. “I look forward to helping serve Saffron & Sage’s members and to continually elevate the holistic healthcare options the San Diego community,” she says.
