Recently, world-renowned skincare company, Dermalogica, announced the opening of its very first immersive learning center in Canada: Dermalogica à Montréal. The 1,500 square foot location, which includes a classroom, treatment room and retail space, is situated in the historic Montreal Old Port, and offers a wide variety of treatments, classes and training programs, and products for sale.
Built in 1880, the interactive space boasts the perfect Montreal loft feel with original beams, stone and brick walls and exposed pipes. The large feature desk situated in the bright, sleek retail area is made from a vintage car and functions as a training post for Dermalogica’s theory classes. Above the desk hangs an iconic Dear Ingo Moooi lamp that echoes the lamps used by skin therapists in their treatments. Visitors and students can explore Dermalogica core concepts in the state-of-the-art facility that features aFace Mapping Skin Analysis zone, two MicroZone areas and a treatment room, as well as the complete assortment of Dermalogica products available for purchase.
Clients can enjoy a Dermalogica 60-minute Core Skin Treatment, customizable with 15-minute Touch Therapy. From a pressure point face massage to a stress relief scalp massage, the client’s experience is customized with each visit. Those pressed for time can enjoy a 20-minute Dermalogica MicroZone treatment. This treatment addresses all top skin concerns and provides clients a quick fix for troubled skin.
Professional classes are taught by intensely trained Education Instructors and include the full Dermalogica curriculum, including Dermalogica’s extensive product knowledge and business building workshops. With classes offered in both English and French, Dermalogica has delivered a space where therapists within the Québec market can receive hands-on, in-depth training.
