DAYSPA was delighted to receive an email from Karen Houshultz, owner of Apple Day Spa & Salon in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, who, along with a friend, is currently enjoying our Miraval Getaway Contest prize—a three-night, all-expenses-paid stay at the famed Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.
Karen reports: “‘Woooowwww!! How amazing is all I can say! We’re on day two at Miraval and this has already been an experience of a lifetime. The attention to detail here is top notch! We are being treated like royalty… with a little sweat and beatings in our fitness classes!
When Karen was told she’d won the prize, as we reported in January, she said she was really looking forward to soaking up some Arizona sunshine. And judging from this photo and Karen’s description of the “amazing” weather, she hasn’t been disappointed!
Karen signs off her email by saying, “I want to thank DAYSPA magazine for this experience. I’ve already learned so much about myself and new and improved ways to make my business better.”
