Dermalogica Launches d-streaming

Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute are pleased to announce the launch of d-streaming, an online, interactive learning opportunity that will allow more industry professionals to access Dermalogica’s premiere post-graduate skin care education. Classes will stream live from 16 Dermalogica training facilities across the country, offering access to licensed skin therapists, retail staff and front desk teams regardless of their geographic location.

Students will stream live classes via an interactive tool allowing remote attendees to interact with the instructor and other students for a true classroom experience. Real time hands-on training courses will also be offered, where skin therapists will be able to learn step-by-step techniques and procedures, which they can perform in their own treatment room. Theory classes offer the ability to Live Chat with the instructor via a group chat function, while the practical versions are done with both students and instructors interacting on camera for real-time feedback and instructions.

D-streaming follows Dermalogica’s “education-first” approach to skin care, allowing professionals who are unable to leave their businesses to gain exceptional knowledge, grow their careers, and reach Dermalogica Expert status.

Students may sign up for classes at education.dermalogica.com; upon confirmation, students will receive an email containing the link to the class and all pertinent material. D-streaming has launched in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale; other U.S. campuses will follow with d-streaming classes in 2017.
