Fruit smoothies are always a nutritious—and simple—option for busy spa pros, and this Berry-Blue Protein Shake from the M’lis Healthy Eats cookbook (M’lis Company, 2018) is just as tasty as it is good for you, thanks to its simple six-ingredient recipe. Packed with antioxidants, blueberries are also high in potassium, while the kale and yogurt are chock full of protein—as is the company’s Instant Meal Shake mix. “MRP’s gluten-free, nutrient-dense protein provides a sweet taste without added sugars, lactose or fillers,” says Wallace Nelson, CNHP, president and CEO of M’lis. The perfect fit for the start of the workday or a midafternoon energy boost, this berry delight is sure to help you stay on track.
