Acne Advanced Treatment Protocol with Encapsulated Salicylic Acid

(30 min./$280)

Éminence Organic Skin Care

1. Pump a small amount of Acne Advanced Cleansing Foam and apply to skin. Gently massage with fingertips in a circular motion covering the face and neck. Rinse with warm water or remove with a warm washcloth and pat dry.

2. Exfoliate the skin using Pro Salicylic Acid Peel 15%. We recommend using dampened cotton rounds to protect your client’s eyes and applying a rich eye cream or moisturizer around sensitive areas to form a barrier. Apply the Peel to dry skin on the face and neck using a fan brush or gloved fingers. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes maximum. Remove with a damp cloth, and follow immediately with the Soothing Chamomile Tonique sprayed on a cotton pad. Rinse thoroughly with cool water and pat dry. NOTE: Assess application time based on client tolerance. For acne- and blemish-prone skin, a preliminary patch test is advised before a general application is made: Cleanse the skin behind the ear, apply the product and leaving it undisturbed for 3 to 5 minutes. If no unnatural reaction occurs, apply the product as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. Do not use on broken or abraded skin. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. Always keep a bottle of eye wash handy in case you splash acid into the eye.

3. Apply a small amount of the Acne Advanced Clarifying Masque evenly over the entire face and neck. Allow to dry for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. NOTE: Option to use as a spot treatment.

4. Apply a thin layer of the Acne Advanced Clarifying Hydrator to face, neck and décolleté, and leave on. Apply Sun Defense Minerals SPF 30 as per instructions to finish and protect your client’s skin. NOTE: After application of a peel treatment, skin will be more sensitive to the sun. Application of an SPF product is mandatory after treatment. Advise your client to use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure after each treatment and for a week afterward.
