Resting on Lake Tahoe’s scenic shores, The Lodge at Edgewood is a luxury retreat providing visitors a variety of wellness activities, from daily yoga to seasonal celebrations. Adding to those offerings is Spa Edgewood (edgewoodtahoe .com/spa), an 8,500-square-foot haven located on The Lodge’s second floor, with eight treatment rooms, men’s and women’s steam rooms, and coed relaxation sanctuary with an outdoor hot tub overlooking the Sierra Mountains.
Designed with Lake Tahoe’s natural surroundings in mind, the spa connects guests with nature as soon as they enter the space, setting the tone with a timber print silhouette behind the reception desk. The nature theme is upheld throughout Spa Edgewood’s services, as well. Its signature scent is infused with alpine lupine and sugar pine, which are native to the area.
Spa Edgewood includes a full service salon and a manicure bar, and The Lodge provides wellness programming that complements the spa’s various treatments. Most popular are Mountain Mindful Yoga and the Après Sleep Cart, the latter of which features a sampling of wellness spa products, fresh green juice, fruit, granola, mini chocolates, and stretch and yoga cards to get guests going in the morning.
