1. Waldorf Astoria Maldives
The Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi debuted the Aqua Wellness Center in June 2021. This center aims to further the wellness experience to guests with a hydrotherapy pool, a lush botanical garden facing the Indian Ocean and unique spa treatments. The 7,735-square-foot center features an ice fountain, steam room and sauna, as well as a 2,906-square-foot outdoor pool. This pool is designed in zones and each station of the pool targets a different part of the body. The zones include a jet bath, air jets, shower jets and massage lounger using varying levels of intensity and water temperature to ease muscle tension, boost the immune system, increase blood circulation, speed up the metabolism and improve sleep quality.
Guests are also able to enjoy specially curated lunch in the garden and a choice of massage, meditation or yoga session following the pool experience. On top of the expanded experiential spa menu, the resort offers a range of leading wellness experts to help guide guests through holistic and highly customizable treatments in private sessions.
2. Mobile Spa NYC
Mobiile Meraki [may-rah-kee] launched in the New York metro region, and it provides on-the-go medical spa and luxury services. Clients of this spa on wheels can enjoy chemical peels, Botox, IV Vitamin Drips and reiki sessions. Founders Micaela Milano and Christina Milano pivoted their plans during lockdown for their luxury wellness spa to a full-time mobile unit.
3. 45 Park Lane
Dorchester Collection's Mayfair Hotel, 45 Park Lane, debuted the Spa at 45 Park Lane on May 17, 2021. This 10,000-square-foot spa will feature Park Lane's longest pool at 20 meters, and there will be a personal training room and spacious gym. The treatments offered will feature products from Valmont and Aromatherapy Associates. The recently completed wellness space includes separate sauna and steam rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and private changing and shower rooms, plus a relaxation lounge connected to the pool, allowing guests to truly unwind. The lounge has a fireplace with a menu of healthy dishes.
4. Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa
Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa renovated its Forbes Five-Star Spa. Notable additions include a dedicated salon space offering finishing touches with shampoos, blowouts and makeup applications; an expanded dedicated retail boutique; enhanced fitness center; designated men's and women's tranquility spaces; expanded men's and women's locker rooms; and more treatment areas, including three facial rooms.

5. The Carlton Tower Jumeirah
Opened on June 1, 2021, the Carlton Tower Jumeirah received an extensive 100 million euro renovation. The hotel provides guests with private access to Cadogan Gardens, presenting a green space and tennis courts normally only open to residents. Highlight features of the renovation include The Peak Fitness Club & Spa, set across three floors. There are new treatment rooms at the Talise Spa, and it has London's largest 20 meter swimming pool with natural daylight. There are 186 new hotel bedrooms and suites that will boast balconies with spectacular views of London.
6. St. Regis Hotels & Resorts
The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand opened the St. Regis Bermuda Resort situated in the historic town of St. George's, an UNESCO World Heritage site. The resort is the first Marriott International luxury property to debut on the island. The resort draws inspiration from the destination's notable local geography, heritage and traditions that are all woven into the architecture and design of the property. There are 120 guest rooms, 21 suites and a luxury residential development offering two and three-bedroom residences.
The resort features an adult pool as well as a family pool for guests to enjoy. The St. Regis Spa offers a menu filled with personalized treatments using natural and precious elements and featuring products by Sothys. There is also a 24-hour fitness center.
7. QC NY Spa
From the QC Terme Spas & Resorts in Italy, the QC NY Spa includes relaxation rooms, outdoor thermal pools and spa amenities that are complemented by views of Manhattan. This is the first property of QC Terme Spas & Resorts to open in the US. Guests are able to book a massage and enjoy Italian bites and alcoholic beverages to destress. The thermal pools are inspired by ancient Roman baths where citizens bathed, relaxed and socialized.
