The Spa at Sea Island in Georgia has appointed Cecilia Hercik as its new director of spa and wellness.

With 20 years of experience in wellness hospitality management, Hercik will lead the spa and fitness teams and enhance the resort’s wellness offerings. She will also lead ideation and implementation for new programs and enhancements in spa, fitness, nutrition and more.

Previously, Hercik spent three years at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai as director of spa and wellness operations, where she oversaw the spa, salon, fitness center and recreation facilities. In 2016, Hercik oversaw the Life in Balance Spa at Miraval Arizona, following her time from 2011 to 2013 at WTS International, a consulting and spa management firm, where she served as regional director of spa operations in Hawaii. In 2013, Hercik launched C Spa Consulting, an independent spa and wellness consultancy that specializes in providing assessment, design development and execution for spa business success.

“Sea Island is an iconic property that guests trust and revisit for its pampering services and quality hospitality that extend beyond its four walls,” said Hercik. “I am thrilled to join The Spa at Sea Island family to help delight guests through innovative holistic and rejuvenating programs.”
