Newly launched spa management technology Spa Space, created by the founders of ISM Spa, is currently in beta testing in its network of hotel and resort spas in the southeast U.S. The patent-pending algorithm matches guest preferences to expert therapists and unlocks access to available treatment rooms across multiple spa locations. This will allow resort spas across the country to implement personalized experiences that help drive local capture while also streamlining operations.
The technology was primarily inspired by Spa Space Chicago, which has eliminated the use of a static menu and allows its therapists to create personalized treatment plans for their guests. (This also contributes to the spa’s long-term success by solidifying the personal relationship that clients have with their therapists.)
Early results show that Spa Space has delivered a 60% reduction in fixed operating expenses. Expansion will continue in 2021 to participating spas including Spa Space Chicago, Grand Hyatt, The Biltmore, Marriott Vacation Club properties and Autograph Collection Hotels.
