Hotel del Coronado in San Diego has reached another milestone in its $400 million plan with the completion of the new Spa & Salon at The Del. The new Spa & Salon enhancements include:
- A salon with an exclusive Eufora partnership
- Makeup application and nail services
- Relaxation lounges
- Pool deck terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean
- Expanded men’s and women’s locker rooms with marble steam rooms and Jacuzzis
The hotel partnered with Gonzalez Architects, a Miami-based architecture firm, on the spa’s transformation. The firm preserved The Del’s architectural style and charm while highlighting the idyllic San Diego climate, with a palette of gray, pink and green. The spa design is aimed at evoking a feeling of modern relaxation in keeping with the historic value of The Del.
