The Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn announced that the spa has reopened for limited services. The property is renowned for its natural mineral waters, unparalleled charm and gracious service. It's located 40 miles north of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge in Sonoma Valley, the heart of Northern California wine country.

Willow Stream Spa will feature curated 60-minute massage services, available in private outdoor treatment areas (in compliance with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines), including:

  • Pure Relaxation Massage (60 min./$179). A light-pressure massage ideal for calming and relaxing both the mind and body. Using long rhythmic movements and pressure point manipulation, it's designed to reduce the heart rate and introduce peace and balance to a frantic, overworked and exhausted nervous system.
  • Stress Recovery Massage (60 min./$189). This medium-pressure full-body treatment helps improve energy levels, promote restful sleep and melt away muscle tension. A jade and infrared heating pad plus a combination of essential oils and magnesium leaves clients feeling completely rejuvenated.
  • Rescue & Release Deep Tissue Massage (60 min./$199). Featuring firm pressure, this massage is aimed at guests who may be suffering from an injury or deep tension. It helps alleviate muscle and joint pain, as well as stress, thanks to specialized techniques that focus on areas of concern and ease common discomforts like a stiff neck, lower back pain and sore, tight shoulders.

The spa's salon will also offer a wellness manicure and pedicure, as well as haircuts and blow-dry services. Its geothermal pools will continue to provide relaxation and rejuvenation for registered resort guests and for day spa access from Thursday through Monday, with limited hours. Willow Stream Spa has introduced intensified hygiene and prevention measures to ensure client and personnel safety as well.

“We are incredibly thankful for the fantastic community of friends and family which surround the resort and spa. For decades our loyal guests and employees have entrusted us with their care and safety. Our phased spa reopening marks the beginning of a new chapter. Welcoming guests back to the spa is an important sign that our recovery, carefully and with all prescribed precautions, is underway,” shares Jane Fellows, Director of Spa Operations at Willow Stream Spa.

As per Sonoma County ordinance, the spa will not reopen its locker facilities. Rather, guests are encouraged to arrive in swimwear to make the transition to the treatment table easier. At this time, the outdoor Jacuzzi and indoor Bath House areas are closed per county guidance.
