Raison d’Etre’s Spa Business Education course has achieved CIDESCO accredited status. Spa Business Education is a comprehensive online spa management course that provides complete training in the spa and wellness sector. All future Spa Business Education students can now complete their Spa Management certification, and have the opportunity to earn a CIDESCO Beauty & Spa Management Diploma. Graduate students of Spa Business Education can now take the CIDESCO exam and earn the Certificate, as well.
“It is great news to become a fully accredited CIDESCO school. Not only will this boost our Spa Management course but offer an accreditation that many of our students, both past, current and prospective, were asking for. We look forward to continuing to work with CIDESCO and providing this additional learning path and valuable accreditation for spa professionals,” said program manager and mentor Nikos Kouremenos.
Celebrating its success, eight Spa Business Education graduates were offered the opportunity to undertake the CIDESCO qualification as the first students to do so.
“Being part of the first group of candidates to complete a CIDESCO certificate at Raison d’Etre Spa Education has been a valuable experience. I have learned a lot about general management in the Beauty and Spa industry. Moreover, I have been given a framework to use and apply in all situations with regard to spa management, spa activities and creating an efficient spa environment. The study material covered a wide range of topics, and in the practical examination, we were challenged with some great questions,” said Nelmarie Swanepoel, Spa Business Education course student and spa manager at SeaDream Yacht Club.

The whole experience that took almost two months was very exciting, as well as beneficial because of some new assignments and knowledge that we needed to gain over a short period of time to pass theoretical and practical exam. Finally, I am very happy to become a CIDESCO certified Spa Manager. I feel now more confident and I am sure it will boost my career further,” said Shahin Gadimov, spa manager at The Ritz Carlton Almaty.
