Spa director Jaana Roth comes back to Southern California to lead the spa team at the iconic Santa Barbara property.

Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara is delighted to welcome back Spa Director Jaana Roth to its award-winning spa. Jaana is a spa and wellness visionary who has spent the past 15 years exploring new frontiers in health and wellness, while studying ancient practices and traditions from the Middle East to Polynesia. The Spa at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, known for its use of local ingredients, places an emphasis on relaxation in all forms. The Spa remains focused on providing guests with an exceptional experience while now embracing Jaana’s vision: renewal that is lasting and meaningful.

A native of Estonia, a small country on the Eastern Shore of the Baltic Sea, Jaana earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Tartu, Tartu, Estonia. After moving to the United States in 1996, she attended the Conrad Hilton College of Hotel Management at the University of Houston where she earned a Masters Degree in Hospitality Management.

In 1998, Jaana Joined Four Seasons at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas where she quickly rose in the ranks to the position of Front Desk Manager. In 2001, Jaana discovered her passion for spa and decided to pursue a career in the health and wellness space.  Since then, Jaana has guided spa teams across the company’s vast portfolio including Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma at Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas, the Spa and Wellness Center at Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and most recently Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina.

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, designed by renowned New York Architect Peter Marino, has a sophisticated contemporary décor, which melds with traditional Spanish colonial architecture and finishes to create a uniquely fresh and classic environment. Spacious at 12,000 sq.ft., the Spa features an upper level relaxation space, expansive locker rooms with sauna and steam room, and eleven lavish treatment rooms. Treatment rooms include the ocean view Palm Suite for manicure/pedicure services, two private rooms dedicated to signature facial treatments, and three ocean view massage Spa Suites including a luxurious VIP Suite for couples with its own oceanfront private terrace. All Spa Suites offer sensorial steam shower with hydrotherapy and in room bubbly soaking tubs. Guests can enjoy ocean views while exercising in the state-of-the-art fitness center, which offers weight-training equipment and cardiovascular machines featuring individual televisions.
