Burke Williams, creator of the original urban day spa, is delighted to announce Dana Buchman as its Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. Buchman, who spent the last 15 years driving marketing on behalf of global consumer-loved brands including Apple, Disney, Barbie, and Activision, will now inspire audiences to prioritize self-care and wellness with Burke Williams Day Spas.

Buchman’s career has spanned across a variety of industries from consumer products to gaming, technology to athleisure fashion. She began her career at a startup in Australia, providing corporate leadership training based on martial arts principles and The Art of War by Sun Tzu. After making her way back to the United States, she drove innovation with Barbie at Mattel across digital and physical products, concluding with Barbie’s 50th Anniversary. Buchman then joined Activision and launched the esteemed DJ Hero, garnering numerous awards before she was recruited to Disney where she led the creation of multiple new Disney Interactive products and brands. She left Disney for Apple, where she spent four years helping reinvent the retail industry, merging digital and physical retail experiences and launching initiatives including groundbreaking digital signage and Today at Apple, the Cannes Grand Prix and Titanium Lion award-winning global retail workshop and event initiative. Prior to joining Burke Williams, Buchman served as Head of Marketing at Lorna Jane, leading the first US omni-channel campaign that successfully empowered women and launched the brand to a broadened US audience.
