What do you do when you accidentally double dip?

The Situation: “As a waxing expert, a big part of my job is to make my clients comfortable by engaging them in conversation and learning more about them,” says an anonymous New York City-based spa owner. “I had a client who was very friendly and easy to talk to. We were chatting like two girlfriends and I got so caught up in the conversation that I accidentally double dipped my spatula in my wax pot. Somewhere in the background I heard my client say, ‘Did you just double dip?'”
The Solution: “After the session, she came back to confront me about my beauty crime,” says the owner. “She threatened to post a negative review on Yelp. After an uncomfortable exchange, I decided to offer her a free service to smooth over the situation. No review was posted and now I’m much more careful with my waxing technique.”
