The skincare brand introduced new products and reformulations while sharing best practices for professional services and retail sales.

Sonäge Skincare, one of the leading natural skincare company’s serving spas and independent estheticians, hosted a client education and networking event on December 12 at their Los Angeles headquarters. The day-long event featured a presentation by CEO Anisha Khanna, a facial demonstration and networking lunch. Khanna shared the company’s commitment to “The New Natural”—creating non-toxic products that contribute to skin health without causing harm.

‘I was excited to learn about skin care trends for 2017 and particularly about a new anti-aging facial launching early next year,” says Mariana Ghemigian, a veteran Medical Esthetician with Glow Med Spa in Encino, CA, who has used Sonäge products for decades. “The reformulation of the iconic products honored Sonage’s heritage, while bringing products up to the Environmental Working Group’s strictest standards.”

Ghemighian was honored to demonstrate Sonäge’s newest facial, featuring the Pomegranate Enzyme and Berry Mask. The treatment provides an instant-lift while creates a complete spa experience with uplifting aromatherapy and targeted pressure-point massage on the face and hands.

“The technology and natural ingredients stem cells gave exceptional results,” adds Ghemighian. “The smell and feel of the new products is divine. I know my clients will love the immediate results.”

Khanna updated clients on Sonäge’s recent consumer press and how the company is adhering to Environmental Working Group (EWG) safety parameters and PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Program. One of Sonäge’s best-selling products for both professional services and home is the 100% natural all-purpose healing balm, Laserine Botanical Salve—recently formulated to receive the safest rating available (1) on the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Skin Deep website.

“Laserine’s new formulation uses castor oil and shea butter as an alternative to petroleum jelly or beeswax. Many of our clients were unaware that toxic ingredients can absorb in their blood stream as quickly as 26 seconds. It was a pleasure to share our efforts to clean up some of our most popular products to receive the highest rating from EWG’s Skin Deep database— the gold standard in health and wellness certification,” says Khanna. “I suggested the group consult the Environmental Working Group Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Scale and use the EWG app to scan barcodes. We want our clients to view Sonäge as a health choice, not solely a cosmetic one.”
