The adults-only Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort invites travelers to relax, recharge, and renew in 2017 via its brand-new signature “Siesta Turndown Service” amenity. As part of Pueblo Bonito’s brand-wide value of giving back to the community, the property has partnered with philanthropic boutique blanket company, Siestas for Fiestas.

Available exclusively to guests of The Towers at Pacifica – the recently completed (December 22, 2016), multi-million-dollar “resort within a resort” expansion – the Siesta Turndown Service is centered around the treasured Mexican tradition of taking an afternoon siesta (nap) that has been enhanced by the resort’s mantra of providing “luxury without limitations.”

After a day in the Cabo sunshine, a delicious lunch, or just because it’s vacation, guests wishing for a rejuvenating afternoon nap can return to their suite to enjoy a selection of premium refreshments (fresh fruit, calming iced teas), soothing music, aromatherapy from Armonia Spa, and a butler-drawn bath before climbing into their turned down bed. With the window curtains drawn, guests can enjoy a restful siesta before heading out for the most exciting part of the day – la noche.

To inspire extra sweet dreams, the resort has partnered with Siestas for Fiestas – a family-run, California-based boutique blanket company benefiting impoverished Mexican communities – to deliver special sarapes (Mexican blankets) to guests’ suites for Siesta Turndown Service. The handmade sarapes were selected exclusively for The Towers at Pacifica in collaboration with Siestas for Fiestas Founders Chris and Jesenia Pena and feature a vibrant and colorful pattern that mirrors the picturesque scenery of Los Cabos. Guests wishing to take their beautiful keepsake home may purchase the blanket in-suite, and additional blankets are available for purchase in the Pacifica gift shop for those who would like to bring back one or more to their loved ones. Proceeds from the blankets sold at the resort will benefit the Letty Coppel Foundation, Pueblo Bonito Resorts’ selected philanthropic organization that serves communities in Los Cabos and Mazatlán. And, for each blanket sold, a disadvantaged family in Mexico is provided with a Christmas meal by Siestas for Fiestas. This initiative will accompany Pueblo Bonito’s many other charitable efforts, such as donating glass bottles to a local glass-blowing factory to create handmade glass hearts that are displayed throughout the resort properties.

Siesta Turndown Service is available at The Towers at Pacifica upon request between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. To ensure a seamless and personalized experience, The Towers at Pacifica butlers gather guests’ preferences for the service prior to arrival, such as desired afternoon refreshments, aromatherapy, bath/curtains, soothing music playlist, and more.
