The Red Carpet Hollywood (theredcarpethollywood.com) in Hollywood, CA, lives up to its name with a series of body wrap parties designed to entertain while they slim. "Every month we have different body wrap party themes," explains L'titia Gunnells Hall, spa owner and personal life coach. These lively experiences all include wraps over various parts of the body, specially chosen goodies and before-and-after photos that are mailed to clients afterward. Snacks and drinks vary to include various nutritional supplements and cleansing juices. Wrap party themes include:

• Hip Hop You Don't Stop Body Wrap Throw Down (includes a DJ to help clients move while they lose)
• Hot Flash Body Wrap Bash (with menopausal or perimenopausal relief cocktail)

• Romantic Rendezvous (with aphrodisiac-blend cocktail)

Especially popular this month is the How Sweet It Is Dark Chocolat Confection Party that the spa is offering on Mother's Day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for $75 per person ($55 per person for mother/daughter pairs). The festivities begin with a belly wrap with before-and-after measurements, followed by a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, aloe and lemon, a sample of antioxidant-rich dark chocolate, a fiber-rich chocolate-chip oatmeal cookie, a nutrition follow-up guide and a gift for clients to take home.
"We use the M'lis Company total body contour program here," says Gunnells Hall. "The treatments got so popular, clients began to arrange their own wrap parties. We took it from there." Many of The Red Carpet's wrap clients become weekly guests, often choosing to work on one specific body part at a time. "One of my clients told me that her husband recently commented, 'What happened to those little dimples in your backside?'" Gunnells Hall laughs.
