China Glaze Pampers Girls at Wish Upon a Teen Spa Day

For some girls, a day at the spa is one of the most anticipated days of the year. On September 26^th Wish Upon a Teen, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teens with severe, life-limiting conditions, treated twelve teens to a day of pampering at the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills. For the girls, the day is about more than just nail polish and lipstick. It is a chance for them to reconnect with friends, laugh and forget about treatments and hospitals for a day. During the sixth annual Spa Day, the teenagers, who are oncology patients of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, received custom nail art manicures by China Glaze, facials by the Sonya Dakar team and makeup application by Jane Cosmetics.

This year, China Glaze was joined by celebrity manicurists Whitney Gibson and Reina Santos from Nailing Hollywood. They created custom manicures using an assortment of bright China Glaze polishes adorned with the brand’s new rhinestone and stud embellishments and topped with Gotta Go dry fast top coat for long-lasting shine and durability. The teens also received a gift bag of their favorite China Glaze, polishes, top coat, Orange Cuticle Oil and nail file to create their own custom manicures at home. This is the fifth year that China Glaze, has participated in the event.

In addition to enjoying a day of pampering, the teens were treated to a catered lunch, made flower crowns and spent time with celebrities Whitney Port, Halston Sage and singer/songwriter Cailee Rae.
