The Situation: "We had a massage therapist who had a bit of an ego and he took it into the treatment room," says Summer Langhorne, general manager of milk + honey in Austin, Texas. "It was more than just confidence. There was an arrogance about him that was off-putting to clients and we received complaints. We felt that he wasn't as client-focused as he should be."
The Solution: "We liked the guy and really wanted to work it out, but after three client complaints, three coaching sessions, and three warnings, we just had to let him go," says Langhorne.
