Congratulations are in order for Angela Cortright, owner of Spa Gregorie’s Day Spa and Salon in Southern California. Cortright, who also serves on the DAYSPA Advisory Board, was recently selected as an “Enterprising Woman of the Year” by Enterprising Women Magazine.

She was selected out of hundreds of applicants across the United States, and will be awarded for excellence in business and leadership, and as a standout philanthropist in her community. A ceremonial banquet is set to take place at the 9th annual Enterprising Women Awards gala March 10-11 in Boca Raton, Florida.

The two-day event marks the magazine’s annual celebration of the world’s top women entrepreneurs. Cortright will be recognized in the “$5 million to $10 million annual revenue sales” category.

Other event highlights include the “Enterprising Women 2011 Connect, Inspire & Grow” opening day workshops, available to all emerging women entrepreneurs who want to learn from and connect with members of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board.

Cortright has demonstrated a commitment to her local community for more than 20 years. With her leadership, the spa maintains a dedicated effort toward the fight against cancer, raising widespread awareness and funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“As a woman who is dedicated to the promotion of health, wellness and philanthropy, it’s truly an honor to be recognized for my endeavors by an organization of female entrepreneurs,” she says. —Soraya Gutierrez
